Timex has long been a maker of kid's watches that are built tough enough to play in the mud, go for swim or jump in the shower. The case is molded in froggy green resin with a stainless steel back. It is sealed to be water resistant to a depth of 30 meters so that you do not have to worry about the days when your child goes frog hunting in the local pond. The crystal is scratch and break resistant plastic and covers a unique analog face. The large numbers are in green, yellow and pink and are very easy to read.

The hands are yellow and pink with a sweep second hand, all powered by one of Timex's quartz analog movements running on a long life battery. The band is made from a unique stretchy elastic material that is designed to let you set the size and forget it. Timex has always made really good kids watches, but this one really takes the cake. My nephew is one of those little boys who is always going down to the pond at the end of his garden and playing with the frogs that live there. He loves frogs, toads and all things amphibian. He even has a pet frog that lives in an aquarium in his room. Needless to say when his birthday or Christmas comes around we try to find him something new to go with his love of frogs. Well you can only by some many frog models and pictures so when we saw this cute frog watch we thought it might make a really cool gift. Now granted Mikey is only 6 but he already knows how to tell tike so a watch is great idea for him. We also knew that since it was a Timex the quality would at least be decent. Imagine our delight when we opened the package, this is a truly wonderful watch. The quality was marvelous and it was every bit as cute as the picture. Our nephew just loves it and wears it everywhere he goes. Definitely one of the best gifts we have bought for him yet.
