Ravel Childrens Fish Watch
Kids all seem to love fish and ocean life, dolphins and exotic fish conjure up images of sailing around the world diving the reefs and swimming with the fishes. Thanks in part to numerous television shows on channels like Animal Planet more children than ever have had a chance to see many of these beautiful creatures up close even if they cannot see them in person. The Ravel Childrens Fish watch is a celebration of this love of all things oceanic.
The overall colour scheme of this watch is pink, making it perfect for any little girl who dreams of swimming with the dolphins on a hot summer day. The all pink band has three dimensional pictures of starfish, dolphins and fish molded into it along with lots of bubbles. While it is very cute it is not so childishly cute that older girls of 8 or so would object to getting the Ravel Childrens Fish Watch as a gift. The band is secured with a stainless steel buckle so that it does not fall off of your child's wrist. There are also plenty of holes to make sure you can get a good snug fit.
The case of the watch is a metal with shiny chrome plating. Like many children's watches from Ravel this one is a Time Teacher. At some point all children must learn to tell the time using an old fashioned analog clock. This watch has a white face with large pink numerals so that your child will have no problem seeing them. The face is split horizontally with an outer band that is blue on the right half to show the past the hour minutes and pink on the left side for the to the hour minutes. The minute hand is blue and the hour hand is pink, it also has blue second hand.
This watch uses a superb quality quartz analog movement to make sure that the time is always accurate to within 30 seconds every month. It comes packaged in a clear plastic pouch with a long life battery already installed, an instruction booklet and a one year warranty from the manufacturer.
Like most little girls mine loves dolphins and while she has never seen them in their natural habitat has seen them in more than one aquarium. She has posters and pictures of them all over her mixed in with ones of horses and ponies. This watch was the perfect choice for her and she loves it. I like it because it helped me to teach her how to tell the time very quickly and easily.
