If you are looking for a good solid digital watch from a world leader in digital time pieces then the F91W Classic Casio watch is the perfect fit. This particular model of watch was first introduced in 1991 and is now one of the most popular digital watches ever made. It is so popular it has achieved an almost cult like following. Perhaps this is in part due to the classic Casio shape and design. According to Casio this watch is accurate to within 30 seconds per month and the battery's life expectancy is seven years with normal use.

The case is made from hard resin to make sure that it will last it has a stainless steel back and is water resistant to 30 meters, however this is not a watch that you can take swimming it is more splash proof than waterproof and you cannot go swimming with it. The band is molded in soft flexible resin that provides for a long lasting, comfortable fit. Both the case and the band are black in color with white, gold, red and blue markings on the acrylic crystal.

The F91W Classic Casio watch features the basics including a daily alarm and a stopwatch that measures down to 1/100th of a second. To make sure you never miss a date the calendar is set up to automatically correct for leap years for the next thirty years. The time can be displayed in either 12 or 24 hour modes and is backlit with the push of the upper left button. The lower left button selects the mode from time to alarm and to stopwatch. The button on the right is the function button. The timeless classic comes with a 2 year warranty from the manufacturer that covers manufacturing defects and poor workmanship.

He took me to the store and said it was time for me to have a proper watch and let me pick the one I wanted. I picked out this watch and now that I am 21 I still have it. I do not wear it all the time anymore, but for the first few years it never left my wrist. Despite being told that I had to take it off when I took a shower, I didn''t bother half the time and never had a problem. This watch has been responsible for me being on time to more special events and dates in my life than I can count. Even though I have other watches, this classic Casio watch is still my favorite. Believe it or not it still has the original strap and battery.
